The California Endowment has made its two largest meeting rooms available to WID on the same date to convene a Town Hall Meeting and accommodate the community’s information needs. Stay tuned for logistics and other details as participants will need to register so we can meet the needs of all who want to come.
Town Hall Meeting Topics
- How the budget cuts affect Medi-Cal recipients, In Home Supportive Services and other programs and the people who live and work in California using these services
- How community partners and state programs such as the California Working Disabled Program can assist some folks as alternate approaches in the lean months ahead
- Benefits planning and counseling services and websites that keep you current and informed on program and services changes
