
Moya is a Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist, and has been with WID since 2018.
Moya develops written, graphic, and video content for online, print, and social media, specializing in creating accessible creative content. They are also responsible for video production, marketing campaigns, creative deliverables for projects and grants, and analysis of marketing and communications efforts.
They love to use their creative & professional talents as a queer, disabled artist and advocate to work towards lasting systems change. Designing for cross-disability accessibility and creating resources that help teach those skills has become an integral part of their work.
In 2023, Moya received their Accessible Document Specialist credential from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). They have lead workshops at Independent Sector's Upswell conference, Cal State LA, and guest lectured for the Northwestern MS in Learning and Organizational Change program.

They received their BFA in Fine Art with a minor in Modern Dance from Washington University in St. Louis, where they began to develop their craft as a sculptor and performance artist. Moya went on to work in art museums, art-based STEM education, and video production while furthering their art practice.
In their free time, they enjoy dancing, making art, creating jewelry, and all things pink.
