About Becca's Research:
Becca’s research explores what makes disability-led leadership possible and powerful.. Despite growing calls for inclusion, Disabled professionals remain underrepresented in leadership, too often confined to advisory roles without decision-making authority.
Through in-depth case studies of organizations where Disabled people lead, this research project examines the policies, practices, and cultures that support meaningful inclusion at the top. The research highlights both barriers that limit advancement and successful models of disability-led leadership in action.
Ultimately, Becca aims to develop a resource that helps organizations move from performative inclusion to true power-sharing - grounded in the belief that lived experience is not a liability but a leadership asset.
