As a WID Senior Fellow, Judy Brewer brings extensive international expertise in digital accessibility, experience in U.S. science and technology policymaking, and insights from her recent work as an Executive Fellow in Applied Technology Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Her experience supports WID’s mission, vision, and current activities.
During 2026, Brewer partnered with WID through the Disability 20 (D20) Steering Committee and at the United Nations in connection with the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
As a WID Senior Fellow, Brewer will promote awareness of the need for disability-inclusive technology policymaking and of the resources available to strengthen it. She will also advise WID on disability-related technology policy issues as needed.
